Felt like an old cartoon moment
Yep, like Looney Tunes moment XD
Was wondering if they didn't take the Russian pursuer's horse because of a language barrier but quickly decided the comedic value of that scene was too high to be bothered with such details.
17:12 😉
Tsurumi's charms know no bounds.
Tsurumi is pretty dashing i must say...hard to find a 'bad guy'
Tsurumi's showing off chadness along with his charms.
This episode was fire also
;)
No wonder Koito is simping hard in the present time lol
Nobody has mentioned "Barchonok". This is insane. Ogata and Tsurumi just got even more interesting...
Tsukishima and Kikuta were involved too.
Facts!
what is barchonok?
ill give you 3 hints of what happened
1st hint 18:31
2nd hint 20:32
3rd hint 21:57
i mean i noticed that but i thought that meant something deeper
Thanks for this! Kinda hard to know when everything happens too fast.
Spoiled rich kid it was mentioned last ep i think
It's kinda funny how Koito's face literally hasn't changed since he was a kid.
Humans don't do that.
that's what i was thinking
Tsurumi, you manipulative bastard
I think i heard ogata's voice from one of the kidnappers
That’s sort of the point. It’s never officially confirmed, but it’s heavily implied the whole kidnapping was a ruse set up by Tsurumi to have Koito and his father be indebted to him. Note that when Tsurumi supposedly gets into a firefight with the kidnappers, Koito is in another room and his father is knocked out.
It’s not even the first time this happened. Tsukishima’s flashback shows that Tsurumi scouted him because the 7th needs a Russian interpreter. But then we found out last season that Tsurumi was already fluent in Russian, so he was never needed in the first place except as a pawn for Tsurumi to manipulate.
That makes sense. Initially i doubt that it was all a set up, because why would tsurumi did all that just to recruit a spoiled rich kid? but now that you mentioned that his father is now indebted to him, it all makes sense. Also now considering this is tsurumi we're talking about, lol
Yes, it was all precoceived. His plans for the gold have been long in the making.
And also manipulated him into thinking his girlfriend wasn't dead and just left him behind.
Tsukishima's voice came from the kidnappers too, you see him, Ogata and Kikuta at the end.
Ye, also at 20:32 you can see a bit of blood/bruises on Ogata's face, it's really discreet, but you can notice it above his lips and around the nose, this is from the scene at 15:13 when Koito hits the kidnapper in the face, while talking on the telephone.
Nice eye! I missed that detail.
I love this anime so much, it’s full of gold comedy, this episode made me burst out laughing for the first time in ages. It doesn’t shy away from using pure ridiculousness, keeping it light hearted while also having amazing storylines and really likeable characters!
Can’t believe Tsurumi really found the time to wink at the ladies in between it all! I love this man! 😂
tsurumi is too hot
dang he's playing all of us including viewers!
This episode showcases how much of a manipulative monster Tsurumi can be, all the events of this episode happened in order to gain powerful allies for his cause, gotta respect the man for having a galaxy brain.
Also, once again Golden Kamuy delivering in the comedy department, first we have a tense hostage situation and then two half naked men going to the rescue... seriously, thank you Golden Kamuy for all this amazing insanity!
This is far from the only episode. He's done it a lot.
I know, I've been here since S1 and also read the manga.
Oh shit, so Lt. Tsurumi planned all this just to get another ally.
god i love this show. i knew tsurumi played everyone, no coincidences with him, alsoo that chase scene was fire.
Ogata was a day 1 hater lol. I love how his father was about to tell him to die for Japan but then goes Rambo mode to save him.
tsurumi is the puppet master
even before he became an official sociopath
Idk he did those things after he was a spy so pretty sure that he was one there
a closet sociopath
So that's why
At first I was just enjoying Tsurumi and Koito's first encounter but as the episode went on my thinking started to change into believing that Tsurumi was planning on using Koito, then as I was wondering why I could heard Tsukishima and Ogata's voices from the Russian kidnappers I firmly believed Tsurumi was behind the kidnapping.
There were instances that showed Tsurumi was the one that set up the kidnapping because I'm sure Tsukishima was the one patting Koito's back when he was on the phone with his father and Tsurumi getting Koito's father knocked out so he could make the grand entrance to save him which was so funny lol, he looked dazzling, so that Koito would look up to him even further. He already found an opening when Koito was thirteen and really engraved himself into Koito's heart with being the one to save him.
That chase scene was so funny, like Tsurumi's deadpan face as they were making those turn and that one wink lol. I was caught off guard when Koito's father's clothes were completely burnt off from the explosion yet Tsurumi had most of his and they continued running lol.
I think Ogata is actually the one that was patting Koito's back when he was on the phone- it was more clear in the manga but it almost seems like Ogata saw a bit of himself in Koito for being the "lesser" son.
Koito was 14.
I was thinking the same thing halway through especially when we know for a long time what kind of person Tsurumi is and his backstories. I only got Ogatas voice from the kidnappers, but what i didnt get is how the kidnappers ended up being random russians instead? Were they replaced while Tsurumi entered the building and Koito was in the the other room?
he took the russion criminal out of the prison and killed them before hand in the another room before coming to the room where koito is.
That moment when Tsurumi winked 😳. Otonoshin's father walking on air and still running with the front wheel lol, nothing can stop him.
